SUPER pleased to announce our newest release on TAV Records! It's been a long time coming, but we're finally ready to reveal the fourth offering on our label: Kribo Records - Sounds Of Lecak Vol. 1.
This release features Kribo Records, the home-grown independent label founded by the enigmatic musician and producer known simply as Maggot. We’re proud to release this compilation on vinyl in partnership with Japanese / Amsterdam-based label Guruguru Brain.
Sounds of Lecak Vol.1 is set to be released on the 1st of June as a double LP compilation of curated singles from the Kribo Records catalog. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with artwork from Singaporean studio Vinylheavy, the compilation presents a window into the unique cultural landscape of the Nusantara archipelago. TAV Records is proud to be working with an internationally recognized label, Guruguru Brain, who focuses their releases primarily on Asian artists. We are truly excited for what this means for Singaporean music and its presence in the international market through this collaboration.
The release comes in 2 variants; the standard black vinyl edition, as well as a limited colour splatter, exclusively available at The Analog Vault here in Singapura.
